Just popping on to say that the UK fabric store, Sewisfaction, recently asked me if I would like to write a guest post for their blog. I selected some of their beautiful blue stretch velvet and made my third version of the Pauline Alice Aldaia dress (you can see version one here, and version two here).
For all the full details of this make, including tips on cutting and sewing velvet, pop over to the Sewisfaction blog and check out my post.
This is also my entry (by the skin of my teeth!) into the #sewfrosting contest which was the brainchild of Heather and Kelly. There have been some sumptous entries, so check the hashtag out on Instgram.
I love this dress! It is the perfect throw-on-and-go dress: perfect to travel (non-crease), perfect to wear without feeling restricted and still enough to look polished.
